Pinup is based in Los Angeles, California.

Pinup Rags was founded by Nate Forchelli and began with selling thoughtfully curated vintage clothing at local flea markets. In late 2023, Nate was joined by designer Sean Hayes in order to venture into producing ethically made garments inspired by the very same vintage pieces they shared a love for and collected.

Created through this deep admiration for the clothing of the past, Pinup is a modern reinterpretation of classic Americana and Japanese artisanship. Pinup garments are made locally in Los Angeles, just a few blocks from our Arts District showroom. Every piece is designed and constructed with the entire garment life cycle at the forefront. Clothing thats meant to be worn forever, continually mended, and passed down.

We use only the most sustainable and durable materials and construction methods available to us and prioritize using the lowest impact domestic options in textiles, manufacturing, packaging, and fulfillment.
